You’ve put in a great effort. Your ratings are through the roof. You’ve had a great year.
An OTA sends you a certificate to congratulate you! You feel great! You want to display this certificate with pride.
But displaying these certificates is a way of telling your customer that you are happy for them to book through the OTA. This makes no business sense, because if the customer is seeing your certificate, they have found your business directly. For example, they’re either seeing your proud photo on social media, or possibly standing at your reception desk and seeing it there!
You need to tell your customers about your great ratings, but also be clear about the best way to book/ re-book.
A great way to display these certificates is to re-make them using your own branding and colours. Make it match the decor of your reception and tie in aesthetically. Give yourself some gold stars too!
